Nurse Practitioner/ Full Time No Call

The nurse practitioner has responsibility for the provision of quality nursing care for urological patients located though out the hospital. In collaboration with physicians, the nurse practitioner provides clinically expert nursing care to patient and manages the care being given within the urological service with the overall goal of achieving optimal health outcomes. The nurse practitioner serves as a resource to staff on issues and strategies in the management of urological patients.

Clinical Trials & Development Manger
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse or marketing and development professional from the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, to serve in a dual role as a clinical trials and development manager. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of the clinical trial process, as well as marketing or sales background in a healthcare related field. The ideal candidate would be an ambitious self-starter, who is motivated to succeed, and has a passion for developing client relationships and new accounts. A proven successful background in consultative account management is required. Experience working in urology and/or with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries is a plus. This dual role position will cover two distinct but related areas:
Marketing/Development:
· Creates, markets and sells sponsorship opportunities, marketing, advertising, exhibits and educational programs on behalf of medical association clients
· Builds and maintains relationships with over 100 pharmaceutical, medical device and medical education companies
· Markets and sells web based programs
Clinical Trials:
· Serves in an associate director role for our client’s clinical trials consortium
· Interfaces directly with consortium Boards of Directors and committees
· Directs, manages and provides overall operational and administrative support to the consortium
· Manages and maintains relationships with trial sites, trial sponsors and members
· Solicits sponsor opportunities, and receives sponsor inquiries
Minimum requirements include:
· Bachelors or Masters degree in scientific discipline, nursing or comparable and related experience
· Successful sales or account management experience in professional markets
· Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work in a team environment
· Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to manage deadlines
· Demonstrated oral/written communication, persuasive, and consensus building skills
· Expertise in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access
· Travel flexibility is required
